CAFOD WORLD GIFTS: By giving ‘World Gifts’ as Christmas presents to family and friends you will be making a real difference to vulnerable families living in poverty across the world. Why not club together with another family to buy a larger gifts, for example ’Water for a family’?

Advent Reflections: Every Thursday during Advent there will be an advent sharing session in the Church at 6pm. This will be an opportunity to read and reflect on Pope Francis’ latest Apostolic Exhortation ‘Laudate Deum’ which is the sequel to ‘Laudato Si – care of our common home’.
Advent Reconciliation Service: This service will take place on Friday, 8th December at 6pm with the opportunity for individual confession if desired.
Peace Service: This Sunday, the 12th November, there will be a short service after the 11am Mass in the Peace Garden to remember all those who are suffering in ongoing conflicts all over the world.
White Poppies for Peace: These are available on the windowsill in the porch. Donations are welcomed.
The Parish will be holding it’s annual Memorial Mass on Thursday, 30th November at 7pm. All Welcome.
Save the date: Our Parish Christmas Fayre will be on Sunday, 3rd December 2023, from 10.30am to 1.30pm.

From next month we will be starting a Youth Mass, led by the Parish Youth Group, which will take place on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Young people from school year 7 upwards are asked to participate by playing an instrument, singing in the choir, reading or attending the Mass.
Preparations for the Mass will begin from 5pm in the Parish Centre, with the Mass taking place at 6pm.
After Mass the young people are invited to join in a social gathering which will last about an hour.
