Baptism is the first Sacrament and is therefore a very important step in faith. The Sacrament is celebrated in the parish either on Saturday at 1.00 pm or on Sundays at 2.00 pm.

To fulfil Church requirements, you will normally live within the parish, though permission for pastoral reasons may be obtained from your own parish priest. At least one of the parents will be a Catholic, and a minimum of two god-parents are required, one of whom will be a Catholic.

To arrange a Baptism, phone the Presbytery during office hours on 020 84491961 to make arrangements to participate in the three sessions of preparation which must be completed before arranging the date of the Baptism.
