PARISH RECONCILLIATION SERVICE AND INDIVIDUAL CONFESSIONS:

CAFOD: CAFOD’s Family Fast Day is on Friday 14th March. One this day we will be hosting a soup lunch on in the Parish centre after the 10am mass. By praying, eating simply and giving you’ll be supporting local experts to provide simple, effective solutions to the toughest problems facing people around the world. Please collect a CAFOD envelope as you leave church this weekend or give online at cafod.org.uk. If you can gift aid your do-nation you’ll add 25 per cent to anything you give. The collection for will take place on the 15th/16th of March.
LENTEN REFLECTIONS AND STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
During Lent we will have a series of 7 reflection sessions at either 10.30am, after morning Mass or at 6.30pm followed by Stations of the Cross at 7pm.
The first of these sessions will be on Friday 7th March. The six remaining sessions will be weekly on a Wednesday from Wednesday 12th March until Wednesday 16th April inclusive.
The theme of these sessions will be ‘the last 7 sayings of Jesus’.
Please note that morning and evening sessions have the same content and therefore you can choose the time of day you wish to attend each weekly session and also the number of sessions you wish to attend.
All are welcome to join in these sessions.
PARISH LENTEN RETREAT
Saturday 22nd March 2025, 11.30am-3pm
The day will start with Mass at 11.30 am, followed by a session in the Church until 1pm.
Lunch will be from 1pm to 1.30pm (please bring a packed lunch).
The second session will begin at 1.30pm in the Parish Hall, and the day will end at 3pm.
All are welcome.
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, 5th March.
There will be two Masses that day at 10am and 7pm.

PAX CHRISTI: Parishioners have expressed an interest in finding out more about the work of Pax Christi and would like to join and support the work of peace making.
