MEDJUGORJE YOUTH FESTIVAL: The International Youth Festival in Medjugorje is from 31st July to 5th August 2024. All ages, families and friends are welcome to attend. The Parish Summer BBQ this year will be on Sunday, 23rd June 2024. 11.30am-2.30pm. There will be no Summer Fayre.
BBQ – Bottle stall – Live entertainment – Pimms – Bouncy Castle Children’s Stalls – Grand Raffle – cake sale – Tea & coffee & juice in the Centre.
We would need cake donations for the cake sale from our Parishioners. If you could please bring your cake donations on the morning, and, if homebaked, please with the list of the ingredients.
We will NOT be collecting toys, bric-a-brac or books.
PLEASE CONTACT THE PARISH OFFICE IF YOU ARE ABLE TO HELP WITH THIS FUNDRAISER. You will have to organise, setting up, run on the day, and clear up by yourself.
Mass on that day will be 10.30am ONLY.
All Parishioners are invited to come for a Fairtrade Coffee morning to collect for CAFOD.
When: After both morning masses on Sunday, 3rd March 2024 in the Parish Centre.
If you can make some cakes or biscuits using Fairtrade ingredients for the morning that would be wonderful. Please donate your Fairtrade cakes and biscuits in the morning before the masses.
The Cardinal is inviting to this Mass all couples in the Diocese, who are celebrating their 5th 10th, 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th and 60th (and every year over 60) wedding anniversary of Catholic marriage in 2024. If you are celebrating an anniversary, please let the Parish Office know the following details: husband and wife’s names, wedding date, full postal address and email (or telephone number, if no email) by Monday 15th April 2024.
This Wednesday, 14th February is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent.
The masses that day are: 10.00am and 7.00pm.
Family Night: Irish dancing and Live music from James OR, in the Parish Hall, on Friday 15th March, from 7pm.

Reconciliation service and Confession:
Tuesday 26th March – 7pm in the Church
During Lent we will pray The Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 7pm in the church. All welcome.
They follow the 6.30pm Lenten Reflections.
LENTEN REFLECTIONS: During Lent we will have weekly Lenten Reflection sessions.
There will be two sessions per week from Wednesday 21st February to Friday 22nd March. Parishioners can attend whichever session is convenient for them.
Wednesday sessions will be at 10.30am in the Parish Centre.
Friday sessions will be at 6.30pm in the Church followed by The Stations of the Cross at 7pm.
